Customer Care Representative - City of Industry, California

NCIX is one of the leading technology resellers. We are seeking a results-oriented Customer Service Representative who will receive customer calls and handle emails. Furthermore, the individual will trace shipments when necessary and notify customers of any activity concerning their order. The ideal candidate will have related experience in the customer service field. Successful candidates will be able to maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent productivity and quality of service. Customer Service Representatives play a vital role in providing an interface between our customers and ourorganization. NCIX is looking for a friendly, professional, customer-oriented individual to join ourteam. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company.

Specific Duties:

  • Be available to receive new calls at start of shift
  • Answer and direct 70 to 90 incoming calls from customers per day
  • Perform customer call backs
  • Ensure consistent productivity and quality of service
  • Maintain customer satisfaction
  • Complete support requests in real-time
  • Monitor support ticket queues
  • Handle any frontline queries and log them appropriately
  • Escalate queries as required to appropriate personnel
  • Follow-up on outstanding support requests
  • Notify customers of any delays in shipping
  • Minimize outbound call duration and quantity
  • Trace and track customer freight
  • Maintain contact with companies and agents handling freight
  • Manage freight claims

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to answer a high volume of in-bound calls and email inquiries daily
  • Basic knowledge in call handling standards
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and compatibility
  • Excellent knowledge in problem solving
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through proficiency
  • Ability to deal diplomatically, patiently, and efficiently with individuals from diverse backgrounds under
  • stressful situations
  • Excellent English communication skills to interact with coworkers, supervisors, to exchange or convey
  • information and to receive work direction
  • Fluency in other language is an asset (please mention on your cover letter or resume)


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Additional education, training, and experience is beneficial
