ATA 100 Host Adapter
The Rocket100 Host Adapter is a dual channel, cost-effective IDE controller card
designed for use with ATA100 hard disk drives.
High-performance Data Storage and Retrieval
The Rocket100 supports high speed transfer rates up to 100 MB/s, as well as
providing parallel access to it's two, independent, ATA channels. The
Rocket100's 2 ATA channels combine to support up to 4 hard disk drives.
Support High-capacity Hard Disks
The Rocket100 Host Adapter breaks the current interface standard's hard disk
drive capacity limitations, and supports hard drives larger than 137GB.
Multiple OS Support
The Rocket100 Host Adapter is compatible with most major operating systems,
including DOS 5.x, Windows 3.1x, Windows 95/98, Windows ME (Millennium Edition),
Windows NT 3,51/4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Linux (SuSE, Red Hat,
Caldera, Turbo).

I got this card today and threw it into my server right away. I noticed that the drivers were not signed, so Windows did give me a warning. This wasn't a big deal, and now that it is installed, I am having no problems. This is a solid buy for the price, and if I need another one, I will order this one again.

I picked this up when I was having problems with the IDE controller on my mobo. Works fine and good if you need to add extra IDE devices.

If you use this for optical drives, fine. But if you use it for HDD it can be a bottleneck for your system. But it's the cheapest way to add 4 more IDE peripherals. Just put your slower stuff on it.

If your looking for an IDE Card this is a great purchase, most are at a much higher price point. But if your looking to run 4 optical drives, you may want to go with something more expensive, im only running two and works great, but with this kind of card i wouldn't push it to its max.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as "no returns" or carries a similar description on the products' page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer's warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly. All fees, including "shipping and handling", insurance coverage fees, and "Rapid Replacement" fees are non-refundable.
- Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an NCIXUS.com RMA number, or the return will be rejected. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 25 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NCIXUS.com.
- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
All product warranty coverage after 25-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.
