Effective device although it does degrade the quality of the video (i.e. fuzzy). Since I have a USB mouse I used a USB to PS2 adapter which worked for me (a previous post mentioned that an adapter didn't work... so mileage may vary). Cables do come-out from everywhere (i.e. all four sides) so it's not pretty.

Basically bought this as a back up, as I have always wanted to have one around for when I am working on multiple machines. Only purchased because it was on sale, and in hindsight, most new PCs only have DVI connector so it will fast become quite useless. Would never use it as a permanent solution, but in short term, does the trick.

It does what it is suppose to do, the beep is loud when switching devices and the led is bright. I am satisfies with this kvm as it was cost effective.

I only paid 19.99 plus 15.00 shipping for this Item I would not recommend this. The picture quality is terrible, Blurry images and almost non legible text. I did not return this item as the shipping would have been way more than it is worth.

Good little unit for the times I am building a machine for a family member. Only propblem is that it is cumbersome having a cable coming off of each of the four sides. Other than that it is great.

Lack of power if it's only connected to the monitor but the switching between the computer is fast and no interference is visible.

Work good other than usb moice even with a ps/2 adapter do not work. i have had no problems switching with either the button on it or the keyboard. I dont really like the cables coming out of the sides of the box, i would like it a lot better if they came out of the back and were more flexible. but over all a good product for a resonable price.

Basically, you get what you pay for. The video signal will flicker with low refresh rate due to non-shielded cables. Also, extremely bright LED inside case - quite distracting imho.

Got this because i keep a small server in my office, and this makes it easier to maintan it. Once the server is setup perfectly, it will go to my workstation where i do my repairs, installs and builds for people (as we all probably do)
