Overall I am very happy with these speakers. Have lasted 3 years with no problems whatsoever. I purchased this product for $100 on sale 3 years ago and they still retain their value. Your best bet for a power 2.1 speaker set.

I have purchase three other 2.1 sound systems prior to this one and this is the only one that I found could replace my dedicated sound system.The mid-range is solid and the high-range is thunderous yet,has good tone.The low-range is good as well.I do have to state that I have known of several people who have blown the speakers while using them sustained at very high volume (I really think any speakers would suffer from extended high voulume use though)       » READ MORE

This is a beautiful piece of stereo equipment. I am a bit of an audiophile and I must say that this bad boy did not disappoint. Looks-wise it's very nice and sleek. Performance-wise the bass is thumping and the sound is crystal clear even at higher volumes. The best part is that the silver and black match my laptop.On the downside, it has more wires than I know what to do with and it is very heavy.      » READ MORE

This is a good speakers system for the price. Very powerful, the neighbours will hate it. The quality is decent and the sub very powerful too. Perfect for gaming if you dont have a proper room for 5.1.      » READ MORE

So I bought these as a bridge between my old speakers which i hated and pro audio sound monitors for my in basement sound studio that I'm going to attempt to build in a year or so. I went straight for my better audio file collection and these things have alot of clarity and the bass is completly controlled. The second test i did was that i plugged them into my 2,400$ Roland TD-9 virtual drum kit. I cranked these things and the sound was very well defined, all the instruments came out nice and not once did it distort or muddle the bass.       » READ MORE

These speakers are simply excellent. Totally worth the extra money. THX certification may not mean much to some, but it really makes a difference, especially when moving from a thirty dollar pair of Cyber Acoustics speakers.      » READ MORE

I paid $100 for these, and at that price they're a pretty good deal. The mid's are emphasized to make up for the lack of a dedicated tweeter, so the sound is not balanced, but like I said, for $100 they're pretty good.       » READ MORE
