I bought this memory during a rebate deal to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 8600 512MB memory to 1GB. Have had no issues with this memory. Runs great. I use my notebook for photoshop, web browsing, and light gaming. I will purchase again when I want 2GB =)

bought this on special long ago, excellent ram and extremely compatible!!! that's what I like about corsair the most, their ram sticks are plug and play, no issues related to pc reboots or blue screens or settings cmos related.

I've installed this into anything and everything - my Dell Inspiron 8600, various Toshibas, a Sony, an HP, all worked effortlessly. Combine this with Corsair's usual exemplary service & support (all hail Yellowbeard!!) plus NCIX's awesome price and you've got the perfect upgrade to an aging laptop one is not quite ready to get rid of.

Bought this for an old asus laptop, bump from 256mb to 1gb makes a huge difference. Now the laptop is actually usable and as always, ncix ships instantly. Would buy again.

RAM is compatible with Dell Inspiron 8600. The total install time was about 3 mins, unscrew, take out old chip, pop in new chip. Upgraded up from 512MB to 1.26GB as my laptop was getting up there in age (3 years) and needed more juice for multitasking the newer versions of software out there. Definitely a noticeable difference multitasking MSWORD, MSEXCEL, PHOTOSHOP CS3, & ACROBAT at once. I will buy another one soon to max out to 2GB.

I bought this ram to bump up a laptop to try and play WoW cause it didn't have dedicated video on it. This barely helps, no subsitute for the real thing. For everything else like winamp, internet, etc., this helped alot. Would buy it again.

Upgraded from 512 to 2GB, I can definitely see the difference when opening up applications. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 5160, 5 min to install. I can confirm that this is 100% compatible with Dell Inspiron 5160 laptops. Highly recommended.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. - Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking.
