The HL-2040 is a fast, compact and affordable monochrome laser printer. Ideal for personal use, it features a fast print speed of up to 20ppm, Brother exclusive HQ1200 print quality (up to 2400x600dpi), 8MB of standard memory and 250-sheet paper capacity. For network connectivity, an optional external Ethernet or optional external 802.11b wireless print servers are available. Either option enables users to easily connect the HL-2040 to their network. The HL-2040 also provides Windows® and Mac® compatibility along with a one-year exchange express warranty.

Bought as a replacement for a Samsung (3 yr.). Prints clearer. Hardly a warm up wait - quick printing. Small footprint. Excellent for home or small business use. Economical.

you cannot go wrong with this printer! The build quality is good, its a complete work horse, and it does not jam - That and it's given to us at a great price! i bought mine for 89.99 in august, and i dont regret it! its worth every penny of it!

This printer is realy the cheapest you can find for finting invoices. The cost per print is verry low and that exactly what i was looking for. Instalation went fast and well explaned for first time lazer printer buyer.

I bought this printer more than a year ago and I'm still on the starter toner cartridge. I've been using Toner Saver mode and it's going up to 2500+ pages on the starter toner!! It's running low though, so I'll need to refill it soon! (refills are so much cheaper too!!)

All I know is, if this printer didn't curl paper so badly, especially after a lot of prints, it would probably be the best laser printer ever. However, it still is really good considering how cheap it is.

This compact printer replaces the HP1000. Good quality mono prints. Generic toner cartridges available if you prefer that route. If you look at the design carefully, it is very similar to another brandname but this is priced much lower. This is a light to medium duty printer and will last a while. However, even for heavy duty use, repalcements are affordable.

This is a great mono laser at a price you can't match. Not to mention, the toner replacements are inexpensive as well. For day to day printing for home or small office, you can't go wrong with this unit.

Bought this to replace an aging black and white ink-jet printer and it's already paid for itself in cost savings from not having to buy expensive inks that hardly print anything... Have already printed off over 500 pages and haven't had any issues at all.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as "no returns" or carries a similar description on the products' page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer's warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly. All fees, including "shipping and handling", insurance coverage fees, and "Rapid Replacement" fees are non-refundable.
- Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an NCIXUS.com RMA number, or the return will be rejected. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 25 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NCIXUS.com.
- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
All product warranty coverage after 25-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.
