This router is legendary for a reason. It's the very best consumer-grade router that money can buy, even years after its first release.      » READ MORE

A little pricey for todays wireless G routers but this one's been pretty epic. Linux firmware really allows total control over this...tomato works awesome, enabling any sort of QoS, pretty useful stuff...Great router, even better on an awesome deal (39.99).      » READ MORE

Picked this up when it was on sale a few months ago in case I'd need one. Sure enough, I needed a repeater about a week ago and so I took it out of the box. Within about 10 mins I had DD-WRT on it and it was functioning 100%. Never go with anything but this masterpiece when it comes to developing your home network, you can't go wrong!      » READ MORE

I have a WRT54G V5 but it is not easy to flash the firmware as Linksys lowered the memory on this model. That is why I purchased the WRT54GL. I was abel to flash the firmware with Tomato/MLPPP. This custom firmware can be used to bypass Bell's throttle or join together two DLS lines. Google this for more info!       » READ MORE

I havn't had to reboot once. Easily detected by wireless clients. Solid throughput over the air (not bursty). Really the only downside is lack of Gb LAN.      » READ MORE

Flashed with Tomato firmware out of the box. No issues, very easy. I have about 20% more wireless range with the WRT54GL then my previous wireless router (WRT54GC). Just a great router for the money!      » READ MORE

This is the best G router that you can get on the market today. In stock form, its great - uses the Linux OS for a real stable platform (unlike some other revisions/models). With 3rd party firmware available you get performance of near-enterprise level hardware at basement-bargain prices plus you can tweak nearly every aspect of it. I always recommend this one to anyone who is looking for a router.      » READ MORE
