I bought this card so that I could use the coax out to my Logitech Z-5500s. I'm already using the optical port with my PS3, so I needed a sound card with coax. This card works great, and supports dolby digital live so I get 5.1 sound in video games and other surround applications. The sound quality is good, and I haven't had any problems with it under 64-bit Vista. My only gripe is that it's a PCI sound card rather than a PCI-e sound card.

Good sound card. Can be a pain to find which programs can run it well with vista. Some games let you listen to music in the background and some don't. No patch to fix that.

WOW! I regret waiting two years to buy a sound card to replace my onboard audio! I was skeptical as I only own the $80 Logitech X-540 speakers, but after having this sound card for one day and playing a lot of mp3s, a movie, and WoW, I can say it is a MAJOR step up from onboard audio. The sound is also way better on my Icemat Siberia headphones. Nothing bad to say for the $80 spent on this card. If I had to nit-pick, for some reason the drivers that came with the CD wanted to install to a directory named "EU," so I downloaded the lastest drivers and it decided to install to a directory named "Ðu." I thought that was very strange, but whatever.

This soundcard takes care of majority of my HTPC's audio tasks along with the digitally connected Panasonic receiver. Set up was easy and it was outputting DTS Connect 5.1 signal in mere minutes. It's also set up to pass through any Dolby Digital and DTS streams. Perfect for any home theatre setup.

I bought this to hook up my Creative inspire 5700 Surround System (Receiver and Speakers) to my PC for watching DVD's play games and the like on my computer. DTS connect is perfect when you dont have 5.1 analogue input on your reciver.

This is a really good card to listen to music, but I prefered my old Creative Audigy 2 ZS for gaming. Linked to an amplifier, it delivers a great sound with not much quality loss.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
