For the first pair I had to change it 4 times with Samsung before they shiped me monitors withoud dead pixels, but I ended up with good ones (they were shipping them with several dead pixels, not just a few). The last one was 0 dead pixels from the begining.

I juste replaced mu Nec MultiSync 90GX2 by this LCD. The color were so bright and beautiful on the NEC that now the Samsmung look terned, faded. But I was waiting for that. I wanted a sub 300$ 20 inch lcd that was doing 1600/1200 and this was my perfect choice! So for 4:3 lover, go for it, if not, there are better screens out there

I've had two of these bad boys for over a year and a half. They are really nice. Some of the sleekest looking LCD's I've seen.

Bought the monitor to match the vertical pixel count of 1200 on my 24-inch LCD in a dual-monitor setup. Not many 1600x1200 4:3 20-inch monitors out there now.

This is the PERFECT monitor for a poker player. 1600x1200 enables no overlap for multi tablers, 5MS is plenty fast for gaming as well. The monitor is just beautiful. buy it!!

These monitors are gorgeous. I own a couple of them in a dual-screen (or as some say, "multi-mon") config, and over a year later (I got my 1st in Apr. 2006 and my second in June), they're still working extremely well. I enjoy having extended 3200x1200 resolution.

Highly recommended. Outstanding. I use 1600x1200, always have on my previous CRTs as well, and I couldnt get use to a lower res. If you believe in 1600x1200, this is the monitor for you.

This is an awesome monitor, there aren't many that can keep up with it. Sometimes the 'sats' don't tell the whole story but this monitor has worked very well for me. It plays DVD's fantastically.I've played a lot of UT2004, COD 2 both with great results. Occasionally when I'm working on somebody else's machine I won't bother to clutter up my desktop with a second monitor and just plug it in to the VGA. While of course I would love a larger screen, this one has great dimensions, I leave the resolution at 1600x1200 which give me tons of room on the desktop. I have in fact considered purchasing another one just like it to use as a second monitor. Keep in mind that it will only look great with the DVI cable...in VGA it's just another monitor.

This thing is fantastic. I do not have any regrets. If you want a screen that runs at 1600x1200, go for this one.
