Great buy at $50. Should have bought 2, using as a storage drive now since upgrading to a SATA2. Nice and quiet, keeping the noise levels to a low for the whole system.

I prefer Seagate hard drives but that 80Gb drive from Western Digital is still one of the best deal around for mainstream computer. I bought it for my uncle and it does the job. I did 2 partition of ~40Gb on it.

i have the 160GB version of this HDD but its the same thing just bigger. ive had this in 2 rigs and it has been amazing i dont hear the HDD at all i also have a ATA100 version of this drive. its a great drive all the the seagate 7200.10 is supposed to be faster but this is still good enough for most people out there. great drive i would buy it again for sure

Honestly, 80GB capacity is enough for many people already. For people that are planning on building a new computer, this 80GB hard drive is probably your best bet! Recommended.

Pretty good drive for its price. Took sometime to get here, but it was worth it. I had trouble with XP detecting the drive, but after Googling the hard drive I found a driver for it.

Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
