I bought these for my girlfriend and she said they were a huge waste of money. Obviously it goes without saying that more ram = less battery life but her laptop went from 1.5 hours runtime to about 40 minutes runtime after installing the ram. And unlike windows (upgrade from 512MB of ram to 2GB's and see a noticeable difference in startup time), with the mac there isn't a noticeable difference at all (according to my g/f).      » READ MORE

Bought this for two 2.16ghz Macbook and not a single module was working. I have read those modules should work with this MacBook model on NCIX and Mushkin forums but it does'nt seems to be true with mine. Either its not compatible or its not really good quality.       » READ MORE

Works very well with the imac core 2 duo 2.16 20inch. I just wish I had upgraded sooner. When installing, you have to make sure its in there snug otherwise the comp doesn't boot properly.       » READ MORE

Bought this memory for my 3rd gen Macbook 2.16GHz C2D, thought the price was low enough that I could upgrade without too much trouble. Install was a snap, the only thing is that you really need to jam these things in when installing, they stick out like 1/16th of an inch from the lip of the battery area, and you'll need to hold the laptop upside down pushing towards you to force it in. This sounds like some outlaw ram installation technique, but it's what Apple recommends in their support manual. I guess that's the price for a really compact design.       » READ MORE

So far, I've been using my 2x1Gb modules for over a year in the following machines: MacBook 1.83, iMac Core Duo 2GHz, MacBook Pro 1.83GHz, and MacBook Core 2 Duo 2GHz, and have never experienced a kernal panic or a crash due to a fault with the RAM.       » READ MORE

For all you Canadian buyers out there that are hesitant. Ordered this online and it arrived promptly. PS. No duty. The memory works great in an intel mac mini. With this current rebate you receive and the comparative cost if you go try to buy this at a local retailer, this is a no brainer for a memory upgrade. Too bad there aren't more apple products you can buy here. Will definitely be buying from here when I upgrade to a newer iMac or Macbook pro.       » READ MORE

Bought this for a 2.16ghz Macbook Pro. Installed easy and runs perfect. No hik-ups what so ever. No speed increase in boot times as other have mentioned. 26 seconds with 1 or 2 gigs. Casual surfing is the same too. Where it really helps is when you start loading up on the multi-tasking, and in Windows.       » READ MORE
