The SAMSUNG SyncMaster™ 931C is a 19-inch analog and digital TFT-LCD delivering a 2000:1 contrast ratio with dynamic contrast, 250cd/m² brightness, 1280 x 1024 resolution, 160/160 degree viewing angle and scanning frequency of 30-81kHz horizontal and 56-75Hz vertical with a fast response time of 2ms (gray to gray). It is the first 19" LCD monitor that features Wide Colour Gamut (CCFL 97%) Colour Innovation with support of other SAMSUNG Magic Technologies including MagicTune™ and MagicBright III™.
dynamic contrast 2000:1  How can we make 2000:1 dynamic contrast?
Monitor adjust its brightness and gamma of each frame and makes optimized contrast between frames.
Bright image: higher backlight with gamma control.

Il faut premièrement dire que je ne suis pas un expert en écran d'ordinateur. De tout les 1280X1024 que j'ai vu, celui ci donne la plus belle image. Le 2ms n'est peut-être pas vrai, mais il donne de bonne performance pour les jeux.

this monitor might be a little expensive for a 19" lcd but if you are a gamer you don't want to get problems with games not supporting widescreen resolutions or stress your gpu with resolutions that you would geton bigger lcd's than 19". the screen looks good, the colors are good, no blurs in games or movies.

One of the Best LCD monitors I have ever seen! Fast response, no blurring, no ghosting or trailing - absolute perfect for gaming! The color and detail is amazing! This is the most amazing LCD screen I have ever owned or even seen, and compared to my last CRT monitor, it looks better and performs just as well or better! I would give it a 10 - but the rating only goes to 5!

VERY Happy with this, between the reviews here and a recommendation for price/performance from Maximum PC magazine I decided to pick this up, got it for a sweet $269 CAN, can't complain on price. OK MAYBE I am not the best to review this as I am a first time LCD owner and I am coming off an old 17' CRT but I expected a LOT of tweaking etc when first booting after what I read from others but I will say I was immediately impressed at the color/sharpness/vibrant display as soon as I turned it on and after only some minor tweaking even more so! FYI I "GET"

A great monitor once you set it up correctly. If you're using this for photo/design work, a good colour calibration program/colorimeter is critical, but once it's set up, it's perfect. My LaCie is now gathering dust..

This replaced my old CRT monitor and Im very impressed. However my old 9600 video card is not very suitable for displaying the desktop and as a result some of the colour are off, but after buying a new video card all these problems were solved.

Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
