These cables are 100% IDENTICAL to the ones included in Gigabytes motherboards. So there is no doubt about the quality. The price is acceptable and the lock is very useful.

This is the first set of sata cables I've used with locking connectors. They make a nice addition to the cable.

Picked up one of these yesterday for my 500GB Hitachi drive, works great. I like the locking connectors, which seem to work just fine. My cable was yellow, but that doesn't bother me since I'm the only one who looks inside my machine.

I added a couple of SATA DVD burners in my computer and these fit the bill, nice long cables. I received yellow ones, not red. Got them at a bargain price too.

I have been using these cables for some time now and overall and very satisified, however have one horror story to share. I was building my new system, and as I disconnected this cable it broke the plastic clip right from the sata drive leaving only thebare pins left. After hours of fiddling with it, and loads of 5 minute epoxy, I managed to permanantly glue a replacement cable on (I hope it never gets cut or broken eeek!)

Works great on several hard drives, but would not go straight in on one - little too wide to slide in beside the power cable on the drive. This length is quite adequate for all internal case usages.

They're just as they're described, and work well, as good as the ones that come with most motherboards, with the exception of the locking tabs. The longer version in 24" cables will work better for optical drives situated farther away from the motherboard. I bought lots during the last sale but at any price you should always have about half a dozen of these hanging about.

I got yellow ones (Jan/08), which actually look alot nicer with my DFI mobo than the red ones. $2 sales price can't be beat, thanks NCIX! Good product.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as "no returns" or carries a similar description on the products' page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer's warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly. All fees, including "shipping and handling", insurance coverage fees, and "Rapid Replacement" fees are non-refundable.
- Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an NCIXUS.com RMA number, or the return will be rejected. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 25 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NCIXUS.com.
- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
All product warranty coverage after 25-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.
