We all know how video cards are -- the latest and greatest cards seem to lose their edge so quickly. This card is excellent for breathing new life into an older AGP system. Not only does it install easily (no trouble to set up and tweak if necessary), it handles the vast majority of the current games I throw at it with ease. Good FPS, good colour and near-flawless performance.

I need a cheap AGP card for my old PC and this card fit the bill just fine. Very easy to set-up and install. Should fit most standard case. Does not require a lot of power. It runs Guild Wars just fine.

I bought this card as a last effort to save my aging AGP based system before I replace "the works" and go PCIe. It's a pretty good performer for the price. It runs stable when overclocking to GPU w 580, and VRAM w 415(830) with stock cooling (tested with ATITool for artifacts). Highest temp I've monitored is 80c under heavy load (still considered safe). The DDR2 ram is definatly limiting this cards true potential because there's not enough bandwidth available. If your lucky can push the ram to 900 tops!

I replaced my GForce FX5200 128mb card with this and it lets me play most of the newer games with no problems. People said I wouldn't be able to run it on my 350w ps but it runs great, stays cool, and has not caused me one problem yet.

Buy this card if you have a 92xx-96xx or lower series radeon card or a 6 series or lower(other than 6800) card to replace it. It should get you some 60fps on cs:s mostly everything on high... overall it's fine. strange that the price hasn't dropped from 1 year ago... ???

This is a good card at a reasonable price that allows you to extend the life of an aging AGP based system. It allows you to play games based on the Source engine without flaw, but it has problems in newer games like Rainbow Six Vegas.

This card brings new life to my aging P4 2.26GHz system. There is no point to get a new system just to play games occasionally as it fullfills all my other tasks well. This gaming card serves me just right for that purpose.

Great card, replaced a 9600xt. Gets a smidge better marks when the graphics are more complex and with 3dmark05 than my GF 6800 mildly overclocked with 16 pipes and 6 vp. But, it does get whalloped on all the current stuff... I play Steam family, mainly, and the 6800 is a lot better. I have installed a Sapphire x1600 pro 256 AGP and this card is a large step up. Plus, you get the lifetime warranty with eVGA products, for all you overclockers. Next AGP step up is the 7900 GS and that's just a wee bit pricey for midrangers. Guess it's PCI-E time, because AGP stuff is just too pricey compared to their PCI-E counterparts.

Was pushed into buying a new card as the 9550pro in my HTPC died and i had to replace it. So I handed down my 3 year-old Radeon 9500 Pro AGP and bought this card for my desktop system. I did want to wait for my upgrade and make the move to PCI-E , but c'est la vie.
