Saitek launches the Aviator, the first dual throttle joystick for modern flightsimulation games. The Aviator is designed with everything you'd expect from a high performance joystick, including a rugged, military-style design, rapid response trigger, 8-way hat switch, plus illuminated rocket or missile fire button with safety cover. And a first in joystick design, the Saitek Aviator features dual throttle levers. These enable independent control of multiple engines when flying a large bomber or modern passenger jet, or an engine/flaps combination for better control during take-off and landing. The dual throttles can also be locked together for simplicity when flying single-engined aircraft. Additional controls include 3D twist for precise rudder control whether taxiing or in the air,front-mounted instrument panel which includes base-mounted toggle buttons with up and down switching functions, and mode selector to instantly change the Aviator's controls to suit flying scenario. Saitek's programming software means the Aviator offers up to 8 separate commands which can each be programmed separately.

Good overall joystick for average user. Connects easily, and multitude of programming options. Fell is quite solid, no free play, configures well. A good price /performance ratio

Well I picked it up because I was at a LAN party and needed something for BF2 and 2142. so far everyone that Iv,e let try it now wants one. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good joystick for flying but doesn't want to fork out the $200 for one with a screen and a few lights.

I bought this because i was tired of playing battlefield 2 with mouse and keyboard. This is very intuitive to use compared to the keyboard. Only problem is the software is kinda confusing.

Playing on flight simulators it has a very responsive (yet not over-responsive) control system. The design is very fun to use and has several buttons and switches to take over for any keyboard keys you would use otherwise (including a throttle controls for a 0%-110% range to choose from), so the only thing you need in front of you is the joystick. The fact that it has 3 dimensions of movement is very very helpful for flight simulators as well. It tilts left/right, forward/back, and has horizontal twist left/right. It also has a nice fit for the hand and a plate to rest your hand on so you do not have to hold your hand up.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as "no returns" or carries a similar description on the products' page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer's warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly. All fees, including "shipping and handling", insurance coverage fees, and "Rapid Replacement" fees are non-refundable.
- Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an NCIXUS.com RMA number, or the return will be rejected. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 25 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NCIXUS.com.
- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
All product warranty coverage after 25-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.
