The Wireless-N Gigabit Router with Storage Link is really four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together at up to gigabit speeds. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. Storage Link that lets you easily add gigabytes of storage space onto your network using readily available USB 2.0 hard drives -- or plug in a USB flash disk for a convenient way to access your portable data files. The built-in Media Server streams music, video, and photos from the attached storage device to any UPnP compatible media adapter. And you can get to your files from anywhere in the world through the Internet.

I bought this because of the Draft N and GigE links. The USB Storage link is a neat Idea but I haven't used it yet to see if it works. I have used other linksys products and never realy had anything to complain about... Until now. I'm not all convinced that this is the quality product that they make this out to be. The router disconnects from the internet frequently which is a bit of a pain if you require a constant reliable connection to maintain work sessions. The Stock firmware is just barely functional. Wireless signal strength and speed is good, but even the wireless connection has frequent drops.

I finally made the plunge for a wireless router. Now my PC and my PS3 are linked using wired Gigabit (great for TVersity streaming), my PSP using 802.11b and my laptop using 801.11g.

I have used the wireless B and G from Linksys and D-Link. I also used Trendnet which was cheap and had weak fuctions to set. WRT350N is a combination with N router and network storage. I use ghost a lot because I have multi-systems on each computer. The wireless network storage is so helpful for me as this point. I read some bad reviews about wrt350n but I haven't seen any trouble with mine. This little baby looks so cool and works smoothly as the best as the router I've used. The FTP and Media Server functions are also having a beneficial use for sharing files via internet. Partically good for sharing the files which are downloadable ONLY and you don't want to keep your computer online. Beside, do donnot use 3rd part firmeware. It will damage your warranty and you can not get your factory fireware reinstalled
