OFCS – Oval Fin Contact Structure
Introducing the newly developed OFCS (Oval Fin Contact Structure) achieves the greater contact area between the cooling fins and heatpipes, which make less heat transfer loss. Furthermore, by adopting the sloping fin mounting to reduce the overall volume combined with the ability to extend the airflow to various motherboard components simultaneously while cooling the CPU.
VFMS - Versatile Fan Mounting System / 100mm Fan
By adapting the VFMS fan mounting system from one of the Scythe’s popular "Mine CPU Cooler", the default fan (100x100x25mm) can be easily exchanged to another sized fan with 25mm of thickness. (Some fans with non-standard structures may not be mounted properly.)
4-Way Mounting
4 way (direction) mounting is available. This allows you to configure the optimized airflow direction inside your chassis without any restrictions.

its a great heatsink and fan is quite when not at 100% speed, but my biggest complaint was installing this thing. the instructions are confusing and mounting method seems not so well thought out. cut my hand on a fin mounting this thing and would not buy again because of this, other than that its a solid heatsink for the price.

I bought one of these for a small mATX case but it couldn't fit in (3mm higher it looked like). But I was impressed by the quietness of this heatsink. It's so quiet that you'll have to stay very close to hear it. I have bought three different Scythe heatsinks and they all work very well. This is just another high quality product from Scythe and I like it.

I used arctic silver 5, good heatsink, 5/5 for price to performance ratio. Maybe the heatsink's thermal paste that comes with it would be the only problem. Good clocks, good temps, good product.

I bought this HSF because my build didn't include one, so this was my choice. The pricing for this product was on the cheap side compared to those that cost more than this, but it's a good HSF overall. After I installed it, I was amazed that it was incredibly quiet, even more quiet than the fans of the case, this was a plus.

Massive heat sink, 120 mm fan is nice, runs nearly silent. Aligns very nicely with my case fan. This thing is quite large, I have an old Antec P160, which still works great, and there is no problem with space. Great product for the price.

- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
