Bought this to replace a 600W Seasonic for running 2x9800GTX (soon 2xGTX260) and for some future proofing. I've never owned a Silverstone product before and the quality seems extremely impressive with this unit (especially considering the reasonable price tag). The Modular cable system is very nice for reducing the mess inside your case (and increasing airflow). Comes with all the cables you should need (and lots of extensions & adapters). It also seems to run fairly quiet.

Ok , very nice ultra stable power supply , my only little concern is the size . I got a huge thermaltalke ATX case and i add to take the upper fan , upper usb part and 50% of the front face to put that beast in . With that sayd i am not sure witch the St1000 is to blame or my case ( they need to redefine ATX if you ask me )But once everything is back ( no more upper fan tough ) this power supply is all you expect from it .

I upgraded to 1000w cuz i need it for the 9800gx2 and I have 3 drives, 8 usb, 4 case fans in use. my old psu didn't have enough juice for the 9800gx2 and it killed my hdd.

I upgraded to the strider 1000W from a Corsair HX620. This power supply is better in many ways, not just the extra 400w. The Corsair used to make a high-pitched sound whenever I launched a 3D app. It was noticeable and terrible enough that you had to wear headphones. The strider has no such effect, there seems to never be a difference in the sound that it makes.

Overall it is a very good PSU, it is silent but a bit big, very good quality, makes a great difference from the cheap temporary 520w I had, now overclocking is much more stable. I think this PSU is an awsome choice in its class!

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
