This is "the" psu i use for all my budget minded builds. Very quiet, lots of power, and its reliable.

For the average to medium gaming system this PSU is great ive used them many times. They are fairly quiet which i like and always seem to power my video cards and fans. Its not something id recommend for sli and crossfire but for everyone else out there its a great PSu and I even prefer these over the Antec ones in the 500 watt range. For the money ive had better luck with these coolermaster PSU's then the 500 watt antec and Seasonic but thats just me.As builders we go for what we dont have troubles with in our systems and stick with them.

I have build a few systems with this power supply. It only have one pci-e six pin power supply. Which is good for most mAtx mother board. With only one PCI express slot. Best for budget build PC!. Don't use it if you plan on SLI or CrossFire.. It won't be able to take the load.

I picked this up from ncix ebay store as well as a silverstone 400watt. I tested each when they arrived as the coolermaster was an open box so did not pay full price. I've used fortrons, seasonic, silverstones (i prefer) in many builds. I tried it in a new build, but removed it the next day, fan too loud. I mean for the average build I am sure this is a fine supply to use but noise matters to me. I used the silverstone (5th one I have bought ) and am always happy.

You can't beat the price for a 500W PSU like this. It works good for my system: Q6600, 8GB mem, HD4850, 500GB+320GB HDD, and a DVD burner.

I would buy it again for an average computer, but not for a computer designed to be used for gaming as it will get too hot and die.

I picked this up to power an e5200 core2duo system, with 2gb ddr2 800 and an XFX 8800 GT 512MB video card. A bit loud, but nothing unbearable. Cannot hear it over movies when using it for HD playback, noise did not change for games, either. Also running an IDE 250g HDD and a SATA DVD-R. Great deal, and no complaints thus far! Good product.
