i haven't tested the range yet, but the speed seems great (after adjusting the rwin). comes with a short usb extension cable, a little usb thing with a pivot and driver disc. plugged it in, installed the drivers and it worked instantly on my XP PRO SP3 machine.

Very good usb wireless stick for the price. Works right out of the box with Ubuntu 8.04. I get strong signals, good speeds, and good distance. Very happy with this.

Bought this adapter so I could get an internet connection on any systems I work with in my room. I only have one wired gigabit connection coming out of the wall to my main system and I did not want to drill another hole in the wall for another cable or buy a second gigabit switch. This was a cheaper solution.

Purchase this because I didnt want wires all over my room, the installation was easy but fall into connection problem with the use of the software package that came with it. Had to use windows wifi connection instead and the signal is not as stable since I'm only 5feet away from the router...I am not using this right now as I need a more stable connection. I am not satisfied with this purchase.

I agree with E_H (april 16, 2008, review): range is limited. I bought this for a Windows XP pc 30 feet (and 3 walls) away from the router. Couldn't keep a stable connection. Then again, my Linksys WMP54G couldn't do it either (I got a stable connection with a D-LINK 2320).

I bought this pieces to be run on a vista ultimate, and i got the driver from asus on the web. i dont know if the trouble is the adaptor, or it is a software problem, but my downloadspped goes down everytime i open msn messenger, i have call the internet supplyer and everething in is part is ok. So, i plugued the good old rj45 cable to the back of the computer and use it instead. Maybe, it is vista, maybe it is the momo, or the adaptor, i just dont know.....

Performance in Linux was not as good as I had hoped, but it does work most of the time. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It comes with a convenient little hinge adapter, extension cable, and lanyard. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for a friend, he needed to upgrade his laptop card to support "wireless-g" so I found this, good price, but the signal was pretty weak. The router was upstairs (D-Link), and he was in the basement, roughly 20FT away with not much in between. The signal would die after a few minutes, restart, and die again. In the end, I had to use the "joystick" to find the right spot. I used my own laptop, and it was fine.
