Fast and easy data transfer
Fast data transfer at 54Mbps and 11Mbps through IEEE802.11g and IEEE802.11b, respectively. It also supportt WEP (64/128 bit) and WPA & WPA2 (including 802.1x, TKIP, AES, …) encryption, to prevent unauthorized entries.

Bought 2 at a special price of 16$ each at a sale. Since I don't have a immediate need, I didn't use it asap but then I needed to move a computer to a area with no ethernet plug nearby so I put this card. With the Asus software, I was unable to get WPA2 working but luckily, I read about that beforehand so I just ditched the software and used the Windows Vista wifi manager. It works fine like that and transmission speeds is good with a 802.11G access point.

I gambled and bought two of these wireless adapters on sale at $16/each, despite the negative discussion I read about them. Like others I could not get this card to work with WPA enabled using the Asus software. Instead using the Windows XP wireless network set up wizard, this thing finally got up and going. No problems since connecting to a D-link wireless N router.

Based on a Broadcom chipset, I suspect that this card also uses the same chipset as the WRT54GL uses. Been able to set this card r master mode. However - the stock antenna is just garbage. Does not work as advertised. Had to reuse antenna from my old RT2500 card just to get a better signal.

When I first installed this card in my computer 6 weeks ago, I got horrible performance out of it, and I was loosing my connection after a few minutes. I had to fall back on my wired connection. But a few days ago, Asus released updated drivers for Vista 64 bits, and it is now working decently. I have good speed and it stays connected.

Bought this a little while ago when it was on sale to add up Wireless Networking capability on my desktop computer. It installed quite smoothly, although I found the stock software that came with it was a bit buggy (the wireless center) so I ended up uninstalling it and used Windows' default wireless networking interface instead. Everything is fine since then.

After having tried to use both WPA settings to no luck using a Belkin N Router I'm thinking ok...budget WEP 128 card. It's rock solid using WEP go figure but then again I was using the ASUS config software too.

OK, so i bought the v1 version of this second hand for $15. It works amazingly... like, never a single hiccup, good range, and always 54mpbs through 2 floors. The v1 uses a marvell chip and i used xp64 drivers for vista 64.
