This is a good quality drive. It has the best warranty you can get on this type of product. It performs well for USB but it would be nice to have a faster interface as well to go with the 7200 RPM drive inside. The base is fixed so the drive cannot lay flat but that is not a big issue. I haven't used the included software so I cannot comment on it. I would recommend this drive as an excellent external storage device.

I needed an external Hard drive for storage and this was ideal, for all school work, music and photos. 500GB is more then enough for backup which is great and a plus the size of it is pretty small, I was expecting it to be way bigger but it wasn't. So far so good, nice data transfer rates, looks good, stays cool. Definitely a good buy, would highly recommend. :)

This is my first external hard drive. It's been holding up very well, transfer speeds are good, no strange noises, or errors. The problem I'm having though (Not sure if it's the drive's fault) is that I can't seem to safely eject the drive from any of my computers (2 XP's and 1 linux). I have to unplug the usb without ejecting, which could be bad. Also, though, I know that (most?) external drives need an external power source, but that really takes away from the portability of the device. But all in all, good product.

I recently just ordered this drive so my mom could use it as a backup. and i am very glad i did. It is an excellent product and would recommend it to anyone looking for an external drive of decent size for a low price, while still maintaining quality.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking.
