* MISSION-BASED COMBAT: Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars pits teams against each other on a real battlefield, with military-style objectives (e.g. take out a key defense, destroy a target). As a result, everyone always knows where the action is – no more wandering.
* DEEP TEAMWORK: With “asymmetrically-designed” classes (10 in total), each team in Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars provides a unique gameplay experience. The GDF and Strogg are two distinct armies with different strategies and tactics. Players are specifically rewarded for working as a team to accomplish mission objectives.
* INDIVIDUAL ROLE-PLAY: Using class-specific capabilities, players can be the linchpin of an entire operation, building a necessary bridge or infiltrating enemy defenses to enable a decisive missile strike. Players protect and revive each other when injured, so they can complete critical tasks for the team.
* UPGRADEABLE CAPABILITIES AND STATS: Over the course of a multi-mission campaign, players earn experience and promotions, and gain new capabilities to help the team. In addition, stats are globally recorded for players to track their rank and prestige in the Enemy Territory community.
* BROAD ACCESSIBILITY: Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars goes beyond providing basic tips for new players. It also includes several innovations that open the game to a broader audience, including: •Solo Assignment System: Automatically assigns players individual missions, so new entrants always know what they need to do. •Simplified Pilot Controls: With easier controls, air vehicles are not restricted to advanced players. •Level Playing Field: While players earn promotions and stats every time they play, unlocked capabilities are specific to the campaign. Every player starts the campaign at the same level.
* MEGATEXTURETM TECHNOLOGY: id Software, known for games using cutting-edge technology, has done it again. The revolutionary Megatexture™ technology allows battlefields to extend to thehorizon, with over a square mile of unique terrain at unprecedented detail.

As a fps junky, I really like this game. Not many people playing it since point whores just like k-d ratios, and thats not really the focus of this game. Winning objectives is, but that can feel kinda repetitive. Dropping nukes on people never gets old though.

This is a fun game and I was enjoying it,but then I began playing Team Fortress 2 and never played ET:QW again, then I played Call of Duty 4 and never played TF2 again. This is a good game but is the victim of bad timing, as so many other great games came out around the same time.

A decent game. I was hoping for a more indepth and longer campaigh but in that aspect I was disappointed as best. There are loads of options and classes that you can be. There are way better games out there but I got this for $20 sale here so I figured why not.

I often played ET:W and I had big expectations from ET:QW. This game is simply awesome. Teamplay is the key of success in this game.

Bought this a month ago and have quite enjoyed it. Lots of class variety, huge maps, and some pretty stellar graphics, althogh a little aged. Overall a great buy, especially if you've ever played the original Enemy Territory Before.
