Fairly good drive so far, speed transfer is okay (USB 2.0), transferring about 20 GBs of files took about 8 minutes. Bought for $99 and a $15 MIR, fairly decent prices IMO. A bit warm to the touch, there is some ventilation though. Nice touch with the vertical stand.

I bought this drive on impulse back in Nov when it was on sale for ~$100. I wanted to use it to store media to be played from my Xbox 360 so I removed the CD-Partition using the link from "Luis A" in the "Technical FAQ" topic and it works great. Just plug it in and its ready to go. Nice and quite due to its fanless architecture.

A friend of mine bought this together, we both submitted everything the rebate form asked for by the due date. 3 months later, no rebate! Called ACOM, put on wait forever. so, end of the day, no rebate, grrrrr :-(

Good product and I bought it when it was on sale ($99.99). I'm using it as backup for both my PC and Mac and it works well on both OS. The only thing is that it just has usb, not firewire. However, with this price you can't ask too much.

Got this External drive for my brother for a Christmas present. Was very easy to setup the software that came with it, and seems so far to have nice One button backup feature, and password protection. He has been using it between a MAC and a PC and seems to be running fine on both.

Bought this harddrive while it's on promotion (with the $30 mail-in rebate) for $130. THere's about 430GB recognized in the FAT system. Good price for a 500GB harddrive, decent speed of transfer, easy to setup, nice password feature, stand included.

- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
