A very thorough review. "the G9 is expensive for a wired mouse, but the price doesn't surprise us in the least. It is the best gaming mouse out there today..." (Aug 31, 2007) |

Overall, the G9 is a strong follow up for Logitech into their G-series. Though it may look weird, and even ugly to some, it is comfortable, accurate and feature-filled, making it an obvious choice for any gamer. |

This mouse is very customisable. You can change its size, weight, and colour of LEDs. Despite it's rugged looks, I find it to be very comfortable and functional. I changed to this mouse from the cordless G7 and I can barely feel the difference with having a cord now.

Overall I am very happy with this mouse and would highly recommend it to any gamer. Being able to adjust the dpi on the fly is an excellent feature and comes in handy on many fps' but probably the best feature of this mouse is the anti-sweat grip that really comes in handy when using mice in the summer. Well worth the money and honestly, who cares what the mouse looks like as long as it feels comfortable when your hand covers it.

I love this mouse. Have the DPI all the way up and this mouse moves so well for fast games like TF2. My only con would be the price but you are getting a good quality mouse.

I love this mouse. The weight system was a huge improvement over my last Logitech mouse. It seems much more balanced now. Realistically 3200 dpi was far too much for my style of play, and I haven't found a use for the lowest dpi yet either. (But I'm sure there are uses for them). Still it's a great product.

Very good mouse. Probably the best one I ever played with. The profile system is a real plus if you are a hardcore gamer.

This is as perfect as a mouse gets with a cord. There's nothing this thing doesn't have, just look at the features section. The only thing that Logitech could do is to make it wireless. If this thing was wireless, it would probably cost 50% more but I could see more people jumping on it. Great mouse if you liked the old Wingman style of gaming mice.

Got this mouse just because I wanted something new to play with. Didn't really need it but the though of going from 1600dpi optical to 3200dpi laser seemed like something worth trying out. The amount of customizing you can do to this mouse is amazing though I find stock weight and stock DPI settings just fine for my use. I like how the newest Setpoint software interfaces with the mouse. Being able to change the LED colour, as well as store profiles within the mouse itself is a very nice touch. It took a few days to get used to over my MX-518 but now that I am used to it the G9 clearly is a superior mouse with a great feel and handles well. I really wish the Logitech + FEAR issue would get solved however as this mouse makes FEAR now unplayable which never occured when I was using my MX-518 mouse. Get this on sale or PM to make it more worth your while.
