Got this card for my Dell inspiron 530s. Tried several games including World of Warcraft, Command & Conquer 3, Team Fortress 2, and all ran smoothly on high settings. It does tend to get really hot, but I haven't experienced any freezing or crashing. Very impressed and happy. Comes with extra brackets as well, so no need to buy any kits.

The card's cooling fan only has a 2 pin connector, so you can't control the fan speed. Meaning the fan hums along at full speed, creating a noticeable amount of noise. Too much noise in my opinion. I'm not sure if its even worth replacing it with a quieter fan, as there would still be no speed control.

IM RUNING MINE ON AN HP SLIMLINE THE REASON WHY THE FAN IS TOO LOUD IS THE OVERALL TEMPERATURE OF THE PC SPECIALLY HP SLIMLINE ONE'S CAUSING THE FAN TO SPIN AT MAX SPEED IF YOU HAVE AN HP SLIMLINE PC I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A COUPLE OF:*TERMALTAKE USB MOVILE FAN 2*THEY ARE SILENT AND THEY GET THE JOB DONE!NOT THE PERFECT CARD BUT ALL IN ALL IS STILL THE BEST CARD AVAILABLE FOR LOW PROFILE MACHINES!

This is undoubtedly the fastest low-profile card available. I bought it for my Inspiron 530s, which has been running great. The fan is definitely audible, although it's not intrusive unless you're really paying attention to it.

This card fit well into my HP Slimline s3200n, which was the main reason for the purchase. Easy to install and use. Price and delivery were good. Fan tends to generate noticable noise but it is not unbearable in any way. Nice purchase, thanks. Dave Armstrong.

This is, by far, the best low-profile card on the market right now. At factory clock speeds, this card plays the Crysis Demo on medium settings at 1440x900 very well. It'll play Doom 3 with all settings on high, for what it's worth.

This cards works on my Dell Inspiron 531S just fine. I couldn't get the low profile bracket to fit though, so i just installed it without. I overclocked the video card using rivatuner to 650 mhz and it runs like a champ but runs kinda hot at 59c idle, 85c under load.. I play WoW on max settings (1600x1200, 8x antisampling, all effects on high) and it plays beautifully. I can play the Crysis demo smoothly at medium settings. This is the BEST low profile card that u can get! you won't be disappointed.

First of all I got the card above and yes the card with part number 86GEF8HDFCXX is HDCP. This is from Galexy tech support. In addition just like most other card manufactures the fan is variable but you ahve to mod the fan by soldering the control lead on. With the amd boards and cool and quite fan cotrol this fan is quite once you make the modification. All you need to do is find a 3 wire fan cut the three wires off of it, unscrew the galexy fan, pull off the sticker and solder the new wires onto the fan. Make sure you put the sticker back on. This will take 90% of the noise out of the system. This is the best low profile card I have had for MCE yet and I have owned three cards to date. If you want low profile and hdcp and PVHD this the best solution.
