I bought this power supply during the boxing day sale for 50 bux (with MIR). Normally I would have never considered a coolermaster psu (Extreme Power series), but after seeing good reviews on hardwarecanucks, I jumped on the deal. I must say, it was a very good purchase. Now, my computer has become so much more quieter.       » READ MORE

Good power supply, not very loud at all. Powers my AMD opty at 2.6GHz, 2GB RAM, 4 HDs and 7900GTO SLI rig with no problems at all. The packaging is great, padding all around the box, so it arrived safe and sound. Great deal for $50 after MIR.

Picked this up from the boxing day deals for $49.99 after rebate, even for regular price its not a bad deal. It runs really quiet. Its got a ton of connectors for pretty much any configuration imaginable. It has enough power for my Q6600 and my 8800GT.       » READ MORE

First impressions on this PSU was, "WOW! It looked great and beefy." I thought I got a great deal on it. Then when turning it on, the PSU started, turned off, and started again. I thought that was quite odd. Since having it, it almost never turned on with the first try. It always seemed like it needed to "warm-up" first. Then came situations where it never turned on. When I re-tried, the BIOS told me that my OC failed, even though I'm running everything at stock. Finally, today was the last straw. It took me about 30 tries all day to get it started. All the parts powered up, but the screen stayed blank. I figured I must have blown something, so I tried pulling things out, putting them back in and trying. I finally thought I might have a blown video card. After going out to see a movie, I came home again and tried some more. Still nothing. Finally, I thought I'd give it "one more try", and it started!!! I got the same BIOS message that my OC failed, but again I'm running everything at stock. Looks like I will need to RMA my PSU now and hope this will not be an ongoing problem.      » READ MORE
