It's a good product but not the best so far on the market. Button have a great feeling but also look cheap. The button #15 for the space bar give 60 % response depending where you press, what a shame...Hopefully you can use the D-PAD as an another space bar solution. I bought this last week to alleviate my ill feelings towards logitech and the G15 diabacle. I still have ill feelings towards logitech now but at least I am not reminded of it everyday I use my computer lol.       » READ MORE

The unit is nice for simpler games without too many key presses. Just falls in as too light for games with lots of key assignments like mmo's. The d-pad is useless for replacing movement keys as I had hoped, as it just does not work well at all when mapped to wasd style movements. The thumb button below the d-pad seems way to low and feels like a chore to press. Customization for large or small hands is good with the adjustable hand rest. The macro features are useful and interesting. Software thankfully does not need to run in the background as profiles are saved to onboard memory, but the software does seem to be needed to switch profiles. Overall it has it's uses and is nice in the games it works well with, but not quite as great as it looked.      » READ MORE

I really like the N52TE, it feels a lot better than the old N52...The buttons feel a lot better than the old N52 except for the number 15 button - you have to hit it just right, if not it may not register the keystroke...The piano black finish is really nice and the hand rest feels silky...I have not installed the drivers for it yet so I cannot comment on them, I just use it as is and map the buttons in game, works fine and I have no drivers running in the background...I paid $39.99 with a PM and would definitely purchase again...      » READ MORE

Great Great Great product, I owned the n50 and that one is very different. I mean, you feel a lot more customable options. Like I said in the weaknesses case, it takes some time to understand all the possibilities that are offered with this pad, after you'll have to set the settings, but it totaly worth it, if you are a gamer, of a shortcut key deskjob man.       » READ MORE

Nostromo Speedpad user since the n50, this one has a slightly smaller fit than the n52 -- I used to use the 'small' wrist pad setting, but now use the 'large'. The extension on the d-pad is removable. Software is fine with the newest version -- on board memory means you don't have to run any extra software, and possibly no drivers needed after programming.      » READ MORE

I'm a big fan of these and have owned 3 models of the nostromo so far. I use it for games like CS, both 1.6 and source, for Sins Of A Solar Empire... really anything and everything. the software is great and easily lets you make macros which saves you from having to write "buy scripts" or the like. I highly recommend. Just be happy it doesnt take the 2 months mine took to get here :| Even with the delays... still a huge supporter of the nostromo n52... and the pretty n52 te as well :P      » READ MORE
