Installed this on a Radeon 4850. It is no louder than my BTF90 CPU fan and temps dropped to 56 C max under load. I wish it came with a molex to 3-pin fan adaptor.      » READ MORE

Used on my XFX 9800GT, the stock fan would go 81C at full load and 55C idle, this thing dropped down to 54C and 40C idle, and that is with overclocks 750c/1045mem/1825shader.       » READ MORE

Took me about an hour to mount on a Sapphire Radeon HD4850. No problems to speak of: the mounting studs fit perfectly, and the procedure was quite straightforward. I picked the VF1000 as a compromise between enormous size and lower performance, and so far it has come nicely up to my expectations. It uses up a second slot, but not a third, and cools things down about as much as anyone would need.       » READ MORE

I used a Zalman VF900 prior to this and loved it so for me this was a no-brainer. I put it on my 8800GT and bought some extra little heatsinks for the card to keep the RAM cool. It works well and I don't even think about my GPU temps, however I was disappointed that my fan is pretty noisy. It's much noisier then my VF900. I think I just got unlucky and got the rare bad one, but it's annoying because I keep the fan on a lower setting then I would if it were as quiet as my last one.      » READ MORE

Took a Palit 8800GT Sonic from 54C idle, 68C load to 45C idle and 61C load... I didn't care too much about the temperature difference though - it was the noise that made me mad. This new fan is absolutely SILENT! Remember, you DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE THE ADDITIONAL RAM HEATSINKS FOR THE 8800GT. THIS COMES WITH THEM.       » READ MORE
