i've been playing this game for about 10 hours now, and i'm still finding the controls a little hard to pick up. fighting was a challenge for me.and i found the inventory system a little hard to navigate. but other than the controls i found the game's story line very good, the graphics were pretty good to. but i'm only 10 hours into it so i'm hoping i'll eventually pick up the controls

Great game and has a long storyline. I got about 25 hours out of this and others could probabally expect more. The fighting is intense and is challenging at the hardest diffuculty. This is easily my favorite RPG game.

Great game imho. It crashes sometimes due to not being able to use the DuoCore properly it seems. Once it gets over 50% of processor use you can feel it lag a lot and sometimes even crashes. I bought more ram because I thought 2gb wasn't enough, but it turned out to be the processors fault. Adult content only suitable for 18+

Great game, very long too. I don't play much but after 3 months and around 30-40 hours of playing, I'm only in the beginning of chapter 3. You'll love the story line if you're an RPG fan, very exciting and a game both for professional gamers and noobs. Just be aware of the crashing and compatibility problems.. I had lots of problems so far..

gfong's synopsis is completely correct. Enough can't be said about this RPG. It is very refreshing to play such a purely immersive storyline. The graphical and audible atmosphere is very refined and it's even enjoyable to simply explore and watch things going on. The relationship your character has with the different NPCs throughout the game are nicely dynamic depending on the choices you make. I'm not looking forward to finishing this game because I don't want it to end.

It is good to see a game that pulls no punches when it comes to the story line. Very adult (mature game)that uses foul language and nudity to emerge you further into the game. The Witcher has a dark story line, there are no happy choices, there are no black and white choices, the hero is not always correct in fact no one really likes a Witcher!
