I was looking for a 1080p projector and saw a great deal for this with rebate, extra bulb and express shipping. Overall i'm extremly pleased with the quality. The picture and contrast is excellent and is definitely nicer than my Benq MP720 (1024 x 768) DLP which has served me well.

I ordered this New Year's Eve. It was to replace a projector that died. It was easy to set up, but the projector is obviously meant to go with HDMI. As I have a "legacy" setup, I am using component video, so there's no automatic switching between aspect ratios. Also, sometimes it doesn't "remember" that I'm using component video, so it'll start up in blue screen mode and I have to switch it back to component. Aside from that, the lens shift is great! I have it in a "hush box" attached to the ceiling, and unlike my old projector, I was able to set it in there upright, sitting on its little feet, and the picture was perfect. It also has a setting to show lines to check your focus. Note: it's a lot quieter at the lower light setting, not that you notice the fan noise much even at the brighter setting if you're watching Bruce Willis get shot at by a plane, say. I already got my rebate cheque, and the next thing I'm waiting for is the free replacement bulb. I'm assuming if I get an HDMI-capable receiver that I'll get all the advantages. But really, manual switching of aspect ratio isn't that bad. It has a lovely big remote which is great to use as well.

Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. - Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as "no returns" or carries a similar description on the products' page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer's warranties. Please contact the manufacturer directly. All fees, including "shipping and handling", insurance coverage fees, and "Rapid Replacement" fees are non-refundable.
- Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an NCIXUS.com RMA number, or the return will be rejected. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 25 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NCIXUS.com.
- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
All product warranty coverage after 25-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. NCIXUS.com reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.
