I wished they had added some more inovated gameplay but I guess it has to follow the franchise. It's great marketing for their unreal engine though.

This game is great. Oh sure it has a retarded UI meant for the console tards but it is a really great game. There has been absolutely no issues with OpenAL with the previous reviewer says. This is just a great game and should be in every PC gamers collection. Avoid the console version as it has framerate issues a lot of the time.

If it didn't keep crashing with OpenAL enabled, I'd give it a perfect score. As expected, performance under ViSTA isn't on par with XP but ti's still more than fast enough if tweeked right for your system.

In the genre, this game deserves to be GOTY. CoD4 and Crysis do much better in some aspects but I don't see them in the same category and they will not provide the same instantaneous fun.

This game is truly an epic masterpiece of a first person shooter. Whether you're a team player (you'd like the warfare mode) or you like to go it alone, UT 3 delivers better than any of the previous UT games. What I found to be a really great feature was that you could play through the campaign online, so instead of having computer team mates, you have real people as your team mates. Good to do over a LAN with some friends.

I've been a big UT fan since the first Unreal Tournament came out. I have many fond memories of hours/days/weeks playing classic UT maps like CTF-Face and CTF-Lava Giant and DM-Morpheus all waiting for the ever classic 'HEAD SHOT' or 'MONSTER KILL' motto.
