I don't know much about LCD's but I upgraded from an 18" NEC monitor and this screen is just intense. The colors are so bright and the black is perfect. I am also waiting for a Ergotron Desk mount that will allow me to move this monitor out of the way when I don't need it so close. I am now a little disappointed with my Macbook Pro's LCD as it looks old and dull after looking at this. Damn you technology!! Price matching gave me a pretty good deal as well... Also running this on an old NVIDIA 6600GT and works amazingly (not a gamer)

This is a nice rig if you can handle the wait for one with no dead/stuck pixels. I will reserve my final judgement until i recieve one that has no dead/stuck pixels.

Don't let the "2ms" fool you, a blur is what you will see when trying to read scrolling text on this monitor that would otherwise be seen on a CRT. This is specifically a concern for gamers:

1. This is the second 24" monitor I have owned, I have since moved my Sammy 245 to another room as a secondary monitor there after having set this up.

Bought this monitor a few weeks ago because of the low price. It worked well for a few days until one morning I woke up and found that it would no longer run at the native resolution properly (it was running at 1600x1200 instead of 1920x1200). A few days after that it suddenly stopped working at all. It would turn on for some fraction of a second and then (I speculate) the back light would turn off and as a result the display was super dim and I could barely tell that it was on. Returned to the store and would not buy again.
