There isn't very much I can say about this product. It reads CDs and DVDs reasonably well, although I certainly have had better DVD drives before. It does seem to be a rather loud drive though, but perhaps I just got a dud? All in all, it does the job, so I can't really complain. I wouldn't be overly opposed to buy another LG burner if I had to.

Burns very fast w/ quick lead-in /lead-out. Q/S w/ cdspeed is not supported. I have 2 of these burners and can successfully burn CD's / DVD's on all three simultaneously using Nero 7.

This is a great part for a basic build. I prefer SATA drives over IDE, as then I don't need wide cables in the PC. The only thing missing is lightscribe, not that I've ever even wanted to use it...

I have yet to be disappointed with an LG burner, my favorites. Worked right off the bat. Burns very consistently with my Taiyo Yuden 8x dvds.

I bought this drive to replace a Samsung one that had given up the ghost. It seems to work well. The only issue I've had with it is the tray getting caught on the spring loaded doors that cover all my drive bays. That's likely more of an issue of the design of the doors on the case than anything, and with how often I need to change discs the annoyance factor is very small.

- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense.
