I got this card along with my whole new system not too long ago, and even if this wasn't the most expensive piece of hardware in there, it's certainly the one I'm most satisfied with (and I'm pretty satisfied with the whole thing).

I decided to use this card in my new build. In comparison to my 6600 this card is phenomenal, I can run Cod4 on high with little to no slow downs. However this card's stock cooling isn't amazing and the card gets fairly hot, if you have the money an after market cooler can't hurt.

Went from a 7950 GT to one of these. Wonderful performance increase. Just fits in my Antec Sonata II with stock 400w PSU. May need to increase fan speed though.

this card its very competitive at this price, i buy this to replace my 7800 gt and i'm very satisfy, no lag at call of duty 4, great quality of resolution, i got the rebate of the manufacturer,on load the noise is respectable the temp. too, great product,maybe i buy another one later

With the price dropping, you can buy two of these puppies and make an SLI build! But to overclock this, you should bu a third party cooler such as Accelero S1 or even the Akimbo cooling unit... if you can find one!

Awesome board and awesome technology. However, I would really like to meet the "engineer" who tough up the 30% fan speed and ask him "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING" - if I follow the line of thought it seems that is ok to fry the GPU and long as we don't overwork the cooling fan?????

The new 8800GT was a blessing to me because video cards of this performance cost few hundred! This beats the old 8800GTS hands down and with it can run Oblivion, CoD4, Gears of War, Bioshock, ANY game that I want to play effortlessly!
