The problem of rapid adoption of HDMI Connections, while still having tons of legacy hardware out there (not to mention almost all PC's) that use DVI digital video connection required a powerful solution. To perfectly address these situations, we present our Ultimate HDMI/DVI Cable. With an HDMI connector on one end and a DVI-D connector on the other, this is the perfect cable to HDMI Sources with DVI displays (or vice versa).

To create this innovative cable, we took the guts of our exceptional Ultimate DVI Cable and added several unique advances. First, we changed the cable geometry and form-factor to perfectly comply (and surpass) the Official HDMI Specification. We then added the same rugged HDMI connector that we used on our Ultimate HDMI Cable. The end result is a cable that can PERFECTLY pass both HDMI and DVI Video in flawless form. Using this cable gives you a completely lossless conversion from DVI to HDMI (or vice versa). So, no matter whether you are doing from DVI to HDMI, or vice versa, you end up with a PERFECT video transfer.

How do we know it will do 720p/1080i at 10M? We have seen what it can do with our own eyes. We did extensive internal testing, using some pretty high-end HDTV equipment. For example, the projector we used for testing was the Studio Experience Premiere HD50. We used a 10' screen with this projector, which made any sort of cable video error quite obvious.

We not only tested our own cable, but also long DVI Cables of several of our competitors. Every single other DVI Cable over 5M had some sort of video issue at 720p/1080i resolution. In fact, we tested a 9M competitor's DVI Cable that did quite poorly (lots of lost pixels and other video errors). This was quite unfortunate to see, especially in a $200 cable.
