The 245T monitor has a 24-inch, 16:10 wide-screen format, with a 178/178-degree viewing angle. The viewing angle is achieved via Samsung's proprietary Super Patterned Vertical Alignment (S-PVA), the latest technology advancement in liquid crystal cell structure, for an improved user viewing experience. The 245T monitor's ultra-wide viewing area can support a range of multi-window applications, thereby helping to improve work efficiency and reducing the need for two monitors.
Furthermore, the 245T model features a high 1920 x 1200 resolution, allowing the monitor to deliver clearer and more precise images. The 245T monitor's image quality is also enhanced by Samsung's MagicContrast which offers a super high contrast ratio and an extra-wide viewing angle that's ideal for providing detailed onscreen images. With the 3000:1 super-high dynamic contrast ratio, it's easy to read or view content on the monitor's screen. The 245T model also comes equipped with MagicSpeed, which gives users an ultra-fast 6ms response time (gray to gray), making the monitor ideal for computer gaming and multimedia-driven applications such as motion or streaming video. A faster response time provides better performance of motion video, and produces smoother edges, clearer images and a more natural image response.

This monitor replaces a LG 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor (W2452V). The Samsung SyncMaster 245T blows the LG away. The difference is night and day. I highly recommend this monitor for anybody who needs true colours for photo editing.

This is one of the best Pc monitor I saw in a long time. The black is really black. The build quality is really good, the frame feels solid but not too heavy. No dead pixels. The colors are vibrant. I did not experience the buzzing noise some users are reporting. I highly recommend it!

Upgrade from Dell SP2008, what a big different. Tried with XBOX360, much better contrast in black area. With the SP2008, I can only see a piece of black area without any details. Bought this monitor with the express coverage, but it doesn't have any problem. No dead pixels, light pixels. serious back-light bleeding. I am happy with it.

The display sits in the higher price range, but is well worth the difference compared to lower end 244T and 245B Samsung models. I've been using it side by side with professional grade Dell's 2408WFP display. Although the listed specs are the same for both displays, Samsung's version produces better picture due to superior backlighting. The picture is visible clearly even under direct sunlight. I'd recommend this model for anyone working with 2D imaging or 3D modeling applications. For gaming I'd go with a more modestly priced 244T panel. The main difference with that one is less contrast.

Wanted to wait a couple of weeks before posting. I purchased the monitor based upon reviews (obviously) as well as great success with Samsung monitors in the past (191T panel for 6 years now).

I bought it to replace a Samsung 226bw with the S-TN panel and i was very satisfy with it but i want to have something bigger with the best color quality. And i must says i'm very satisfy, i use the color profile from Anandtech 245T review found her:

The image quality on this monitor is excellent. The colours are very vibrant and the image itself is bright. I have this monitor next to a 19" Viewsonic VP930b and an old 19" CRT and they both look grey and dim in comparison.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
- Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
