Bought this to keep my two 4850's from burning up. This has been probably on of the best GPU cooling products that i've used to date. For the great price, I get, GREAT looks and 40 Deg idle and 55 Deg load on a moderately OC'd card.

Compared to the stock single slot cooler on my 8800gt this cooler is very quiet. With all the case fans turned off I still can't hear the Gfxchilla over my cpu fan (arctic cooler 64).

I got this for my birthday to replace the passive cooling on my Sapphire x1550 512mb pci-e card, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I have yet to overclock, but I will be shortly. I'm positive this will do a far better job then the stock heatsink. My only issue was that I almost wasn't able to put it into the pcie slot due to the chipset heatsink. But my motherboard wasn't very well designed to begin with. Seriously, who puts a chipset directly behind the peripheral slots?

Performs exactly the same as the Thermaltake DuOrb, get the idea? But this one is much quieter than DuOrb. I have this one on a X1900XTX, and a DuOrb on X1950CF, both core temp around 35~38 Idle, 40~48 Load, it depends, room temp 28. In comparison, better than DuOrb overall.

certainly not the best money can buy but it is the best bang for the dollar and it does it's job of cooling very well. One of the heat sinks for the memory refused to stay in place and ended up having to use thermal adhesive to keep it in place. Once the the main heat pipe cooler is in place it is very hard to re attach memory sinks... I did a small hack job with my install and I re-attached the mosfets heat sink portion that came with the card and bolted that section back in place.

Got this for my 4850. My 4850 idled at around 80C, but I figured out how to adjust the fan speed, so it dropped to ~50C and isn't that loud. I'm not sure I'll need this, but at $20 price matched, it was a great deal. I want to try it out but I don't like the idea of voiding my warranty!!

I heard that the design temperatures for the 4850 were high so I decided I wanted a better cooler.

Surprisingly efficient for the size and price, i install it with 2 Hiper cooling fan 80X15mm, still very quiet, before my His Iceq3 HD3870 was running idle: 44deg.c and load 72\74deg.c at stock speed, max stable oc was 820Mhz, now it's idle 35C and load at 850Mhz(stable) 51C, i tried it at 875Mhz and still the same temp.

the only problem I've had with this is the noise, which was more audible than I expected. it's still extremely quiet, and I'm about to switch out the fans for quieter ones anyway.
