Other than the issue of having to RMA it, it's a great card overall. Just hope you got a good one, and not a defective one.

8800 would rape this thing. my 8600 is VERY comparable to this. disappointing. returned my 9600 to local vendor for a palit 8600. perhaps I got a lemon card, but my 8600 is cheaper and performs the same.

This is a decent card on sale. The ATI 3850 has this thing beat for the price/performance. Just purely on the performance side of things this card is pretty decent for a mid-range card. I bought EVGA only because of their step-up program and EVGA has to have one of the best warranty's/customer service ever. Can not give it 5 stars due to the regular price. On sale though this is like a 4.8/5 video card.

This card is awesome, upped my framerates by 30%ish on most games. Not the raw power some of the 8800s have, but for the price and taking into consideration power consumption, heat output, overclocking capability and fan noise: great card!

I originally bought a pair of 8600 GTS cards for my M2N-SLI Deluxe machine, but when these came out, I returned the 8600 GTS's and got a pair of these instead. I'm very happy with the purchase as they were easy to install and performs quite well in games.

Great card, that is well worth the money, probably the best money i ever spent under $200. Performs great even though i'm still running a pentium 4. Playing crysis at full res, all medium and x2AA at 40fps! All though it says 675mhz i easily OCed to 720mhz and it was still stable. Great card i really recomend it since i was replacing my 7600gs. Get it you just can't go wrong, unless you want something really special.

I love this card, upgraded from an ATI 1650 pro and what a difference. Put it an XFX sli mobo with a C2Quad and 4 gig's of ram, it SCREAMS!!! Ordered another one this week at the sale price again of $205 delivery and taxes and will be running it in sli mode, should out perform a Geforce 8800 for sure. Will post a review when I'm up and running, can't wait!!!
