In the end I was impressed with the performance of the XFX 9600 GT given its stock clock speeds and low price. The XFX 9600 GT may well be the next big thing in affordable and attainable graphics performance from NVIDIA.

Amazing value. Picked this up for $139 after MIR. Can run Crysis at high. Got 11k 3dmark. Runs in my fanless 14" case at 53C, which is quite good considering my horrid case. Very quiet at auto fan-speeds; even at 100%, it's only noticeable. Very overclockable.

This card is a monster at price vs performance. Its worth every penny if you want a new card now. If you want better though, I'd wait a lil longer and if your willing to pay way more.
