I am more than impressed with this card. I've been playing crysis warhead on mainstream/gamer settings. For a card that i was under the impression was an "ok" video card, it has surprised me.

I am not a gamer, I only bought this card to set up my dual monitor. Works fine so far. No problems at all. Even my movies are now better with this card.

This video card has enough power to play pretty much anything out there. I've been playing TF2 with everything at maximum at 1680x1050 with no visible slowdown or lag. It is a bit bigger than most 9600GT cards, and the fan never goes below 50%, even when idle, but if you can pick it up on sale with a mail in rebate (final price of $108 when I picked it up), it's a no brainer.

Got it for $109 a few months back. At 1280x1024 this baby dealt with every game I threw at it, churning out ~60FPS or more (up to Crysis g High 30 FPS). I recently upgraded to a 22" LCD, and at 1680x1050 this card drops to about 60-80% of its FPS at 1280, which is just about expected. Unfortunately Crysis is only playable at medium at this res, but thats also to be expected from a $100 card! Also temps with the Galaxy's custom dual-slot cooler are very good...45 idle, up to 80 deg max in a VERY hot small room with 3 computers.

Runs very cool, will handle modern games quite well. I overclocked it to 770MHz core and 2200MHz memory. Best bang for your buck right now.

Just received the card today, Box is plain but who cares it gets thrown in the closet after drooling at it for a minute or two. To the real review, I ran some tests with my old XFX 7900gs o/c edition and compared the frame rates to the 9600. All i can say is the 9600gt has destroyed everything ive thrown at it, race driver GRID t 1680x1050 all settings maxed no problem and no significant drop in frame rate. I personally think grid requires more from the gpu then crysis due to the fact that you cant even go past 1280x resolution in grid without a 512mb card.
