Overall this laptop specs are very good for the price you pay. The screen is crystal clear and Blu-ray movies look superb on it. Surround sound is not really needed on the notebook, but works well when you hook it up to your own system. Some keys on the keyboard such as the enter and shift key are awkwardly shaped so you might find yourself pressing either the \ button or caps lock. Games work well but don't expect to play the newest games on high settings. The CineDash volume works better if you tap where the + or - signs are.

Well this is a good value for the money laptop, which pretty much defines acer brand. The screen is beautiful good response time. Speakers are decent but they hype it up much more than it is. I get 3752 as a score in 3dmark06. Decent performance, but seriously at least a 7000 series core 2 duo is in order. I really liked the fact that you can see 4.00GB of ram in the welcome screen when others are just 3.0 or at most 3.5 GB of RAM. I just REALLY wished for three things:

This laptop is really nice. I am loving it a lot. The high def content looks amazing even though the screen is not 1920 x 1080 like some models of this new acer breed. It looks really slick with the faded blue and black back and the nice acer logo which seems to float a bit! The keyboard is nice to type on and the touchpad is textured which I find a lot better to work with then a smooth touchpad. The cinedash is really nice for music and media (except for the volume adjust), and it looks really cool at night in the dark! Its really peppy for any normal stuff (havent gamed with it yet). But I do CAD design for circuit boards and it works great for that, doesnt lag at all. Overall my impression is that its a damn good looking laptop, and has an excellent feel for it!
