It works as it says. But the On/Off switch stuck inside after pressing it.

This is overall a pretty good little device, but the one problem I have is that it doesn't seem to spin down the drive, even when it's unmounted. This results in the drive getting very hot. I have to power it down when not in use to prevent this.

I like it, it's cheap, it makes it easy to pull someones HD and re-format it in a jiff. I would suggest grabbing one if your tired of cracking your case open. Can't beat the price.

As others have mentioned, I would agree that the build quality is inferior. However, it does work as advertised. The included power supply is quite large and occupies a lot of space. If only they could have a cable that allows it to run off of the computer's power supply (i.e. PSU slot bracket drive dock).

Although Thermaltake came out with the dock-style enclosure first, the mistake they made was no eSATA port. Although now that enclosure is available with an eSATA port, Vantec beat them to it. And it's a nice enclosure. The standard iPod white is a nice touch. Nice buy.

Because of many complains in my family, I was forced to return it. They felt that the kids in our family could break it. Because of this, I chose the Nexstar one which was of a lower qaulity as the wire connecting to the esata got loose

Bought this dock during the anniversary promotion. It works really well and it looks good on the desktop. However, it only support SATA interfaces, so for older harddrives, you will still need an enclosure.

Products sold by NCIXUS.com are covered under a limited 25-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by NCIXUS.com for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.

- LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.
