Corsair has seemingly righted the ship that is the PSH850 for the most part by providing a power supply with good voltage regulation, a very good build quality, is reasonably quiet, and has in specification DC output quality making this a solid 850 watt PSU choice.
If you're a gamer, then there's no need to buy an expensive 1000W+ PSU ... An affordable power supply that can satisfy the needs of most gamers is plenty enough ... meet the Corsair TX850W PSU.

I have used Corsair 650w supplies in several rigs and stepped up to this 850w for a Core-i7 build with plans for 5850's in crossfire and raid. This supply is a real bargain on sale for just $120 when you see how well made it is. Power is clean and there are enough connectors for everything. Only problem is hiding all the unused cables as they are bulky. Oh, and the packaging is just silly - the supply is packed in foam (good) but also has a "Crown Royal" style velvet bag (dumb).

A great PSU that looks nice and was inexpensive. I use it on a 5850 card with a few HDDs, but no doubt it could hold another few drives and another video card. Watch out though: its not modular, and the cabling can be hard to deal with (at least they give you some ties)

850W...paid 143$...think that says it all.Its still kicking and its quiet.The cabling can become a bit hecktic if you dont have a case that will allow you to have decent cable management.

Overall a good, quality powersupply by Corsair. My only complaint is that the fan gets noticeably loud during heavy gaming. Also, the fan seems to dump the hot air into the case which is definitely not a good thing.
