I recommand it to everybody, it's a very good purchase for the price. It's powerfull whit it one gb. I'm perfectly happy of my purchase. The graphic is amazing And it's have a very nice look.

I brought it out of NCIX's ebay store and I really enjoy it. Its fast, and its worth the upgrade over my Nvidia 8800 GT. It kicks it over with 1 GB GDDR5 its amazing and I recommand it.

One of the reasons I bought this one is for TV-out. I don't have a HDTV, so I simply use a S-video -> S-Video/Composite adapter-> long composite video cable to my old CRT TV. I have never seen such a sharp and vivid desktop image on my TV before, and no horizontal/vertical distortion whatsoever at default setting. Online TV viewing on my TV is great.

I have two of these, one on a system driven by an Opteron 185 on a large-screen HDTV and one on my Phenom II 965. Both are performing splendidly, in different ways. On the Phenom system my monitor is smaller and faster and I enjoy the high FPS, whereas on the HDTV I enjoy the image quality on the screen which is capped at 60fps.

Right now, it seems good, but had some trouble at the start, it would blue screen or glitch when playing games (both XP & Vista). Default drivers in CD did not work, had to use catalyst. Did a fresh install of XP and it still glitched after 15-20 minutes. Read some reviews, some others have had similar problems with same card.

My computer isn't top of the line by any means, but throwing this card into it has transformed it into a real beast. Just finished playing Arkham Asylum on MAX settings with excellent FPS, no frame lag.

I cheaped out on a computer and had in mind to buy this video card. I installed it right away and it has been working perfectly. Although it's set up for crossfire, I only have one PCI-E slot.... oh well.

This card performs very well for an HD 4870. Even though it is a bit more expensive than others in this line, it offers good bang for the buck. It runs very cool for an HD 4870, thanks to the excellent stock cooling it comes with. It should overclock pretty well, but I'm too lazy to work on that. Good buy on sale/after a price match.

A nice alternative to the gtx265 and a important competitor to the gtx280 1gig if you overclock the 4870. A nice price but can go down a bit more. I suppose this card in crossfire with the i7 can kill the new gtx285.
