I purchased this motherboard for a clients uprade. The shipping was great and the price was fair. The istalation of the board went quite well and it was already updated with the bios. I have only complaint about this board There are only 3 case fan 3 pins on this board 1 at the top and 2 in the middle. One of them in the centre is for the power fan wich cannot be adjusted in the bios. So I had to get creative, but problem resolved. It is definatly a midrange board that has lots of goodies for overclockers.       » READ MORE

I bought this as a replacement motherboard since my P5B Deluxe died of a PSU attack. I picked this model because it was the only affordable LGA775 motherboard with Intel ICH-R chipset: I didn't want to lose my RAID drives. It worked flawlessly! Drives were recognized and mounted intact. I didn't even reinstall Windows and actually got away with it.       » READ MORE

A fair purchase for the price/performance. It overclocks well and generally great all-round. For the price, it's great for aging systems that you want to keep around for a few more years.      » READ MORE

I usually buy ASUS mobo for all my systems. They are very reliable and good for overclocking. I bought this for my e8400. It works great without any problems. I would buy another asus board      » READ MORE

I have owned Asus boards for years and found them to be excellent products. However, my last Asus board was a pooch right out of the box: had to RMA it once and it never did work properly. So I had a little trepidation when it came to buying another. There are a ton of hardware site reviews and user reviews, largely favourable, on this board's predecessor, the P5Q Pro. However, there is less info on this version. One question that comes up, and it interested me as well, was what, if any, differences there were between this board and the original P5Q Pro. So I set off to find out. For anyone interested, here is what I found:       » READ MORE

nice black board to go with case, great for people who want non-flashy components. does the job, working good with q9400 and 2 XFX 5770 cards. I'm a big fan of Asus, no problems with any boards except for that one time i tried to update  the BIOS using the windows bios update  utility, which is why i bought this board. nicely spaced PCI-E 16x slots so the two cards are not pressed against each other, and there is room above the top card for other things - i have my CPU fan controller there.      » READ MORE

I bought this board when I upgraded from an 8800GT to a HD5770 in anticipation of crossfire. I upgraded from a Gigabite p35-ds3l, and the ASUS board has provided much greater performance. I experience quicker boot times, and more stable performace in Windows 7 with the P5Q Pro turbo. The system also includes a Core 2 Quad Q6600, 4GB DDR2-800, and the 5770. It is powered by an Corsair VX450. I plan to upgrade to crossfire soon, with an upgraded power supply.       » READ MORE

Bought this mobo to install with a Core 2 Duo 3.0 cpu. It's great for overclocking that as well as the ram. Looks pretty nice too if you have a clear case.       » READ MORE

I use this in my HTPC i'm VERY satisfied with this motherboard. Asus always has rock solid boards and this is no exception. the only complaint i would have is they should ditch a pci slot for another pcie slot. but at this price the motherboard is a real steal.       » READ MORE
