I use this in my HTPC i'm VERY satisfied with this motherboard. Asus always has rock solid boards and this is no exception. the only complaint i would have is they should ditch a pci slot for another pcie slot. but at this price the motherboard is a real steal.

It works very stable with a E8400 CPU. It overclocks easely and dosn't overheat. Another great Asus product.

I just installed it last night and it booted up without issue. It has a lot of nice features in bio and software, most of which I will never use, I bought this board because of Asus' reputation as THE premier MB maker and because it fit my needs for a replacement MB.

It was the beginning of chipset P45 and Asus offered a great product. I got no issue, problem or failure since a year. I really enjoy Asus product. The board is stable with a Core 2 8400. No problem.

Extremely good motherboard. Had couple of issues with the P5K and still decided to buy an asus and the P5Q is rock solid .. highly recommended. running a 8400 at 4ghz 445mhz on it and it was a joke to set.

My past 3 builds have all used ASUS boards and being that I've never had any issues I've always stuck with them. This board has been no different then the others. It's been 1 year now and have not had a single issue. Have it paired up with a Core 2 Duo E8400, 4GB Dual Channel DDR2, and ATI HD4850. Haven't had any issues in games at all, and I recently upgraded to dual HD4850s and the performance has been amazing. Never had any heat issues and this is with a slight overclock on mainly stock parts (installed DuOrbs on my HD4850s). Would recommend this board to anyone who's interested.

I got this installed a couple of days ago and so far so good. Everything is very stable and so far there have been no hiccups. I will be doing some overclocking soon but if it's anything like the ASUS P5Q Pro, it should be very good. It has a black-ish PCB which is great and enough connections for your hardware. It also has a very efficient layout, so that's something important ASUS nailed with this.
