ReviewsThe Tech Lounge - "So in an effort to give purpose to this card's existence, I can say this: if you're the purveyor of an Internet cafe, a digital barista, and you have to build twenty computers capable of running WoW: Wrath of the Lich King, then this isn't a bad way of saving a grand or so."
TechReport - "Our example of the 9500 GT has one big thing going for it. Yep, that's a passive cooler. Zotac's ZONE edition of the 9500 GT comes completely fanless, with an HMDI adapter and no need for an auxiliary power connection. It also has 512MB of relatively quick GDDR3 memory running at 800MHz (or 1600MT/s)."
xsreviews - But the best thing of all though, is that unlike most passive cards, you don"t have to sacrifice performance for silence.
bios magazine - "Zotac's GeForce 9500GT Zone Edition is a premium silent graphics card at an affordable price."
Chip - If you are looking for entry level gaming and a good graphics card to complete your HTPC, this is the to go for. At this price you can not go wrong. Please see detail review on Page 52 in Digit Nov. '08 issue
Techtree.com - "There are many different flavors of this card and the Zotac card comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. Since this is fabricated using the 55nm process, the maximum power draw is just 50W according to NVIDIA, so even a 350W power supply should be enough. Compared to the stock 550MHz, this is a good 31% boost. I was able to take the memory up to 2000MHz effective from the stock 1600MHz. 3D Mark 06 and Vantage was affected the most giving me a nice 31% boost in the overall scores. Not only that, even in Crysis I was able to get a nice boost of around 25%, which is really good and also rarely seen with mainstream cards."
Atomic - Thankfully Zotac have actually granted us access to the SLI tab, so it's possible to run two of these if you'd like to get some slightly faster silent action. The cooler is the same as well, and idles at 68 degrees, 72 load without active cooling. With a fan this drops to 40 idle, and 44 load - very nice indeed. This is a very good choice for a media PC .
PC PowerPlay - the Zotac 9500GT gives good bang for the bucks. Even better, it has a low power draw, meaning it doesn't need PCIe power cabling to run.
