Windows 7 in my opinion is the best Microsoft OS to date. I've used a lot of different Microsoft OS's but none of them have impressed me as much as Windows 7. I took part of the Windows 7 beta and was really surprised on how well the OS worked. Things are made simple (not all of them) and definitely appeal to new users. I would even go as far as staying it is the most stable OS I've used (next to Windows XP). I highly recommend this OS for anyone.

Great OS. I enjoyed the free RTM version this is essentially the same minus a few features. Windows 7 has much better driver support then when Vista emerged plus it installs most drivers automatically. Good 64 bit driver support.

Pretty standard - upgraded from Vista, which was nightmarish with some things.

This OS is worth paying for (finally a MS OS that i will pay for). I have put it on 2 of my 3 computers (will be going on the 3rd very soon) and in both cases I have been very happy.

I buy Windows 7 Premium for an upgrade on Winxp.Worst the price (99$ on special.) I don't really need all the feature of the professionnal or ultimate i think for all people that the home premium can do the job. Really like the new navigation features.

Used this OEM copy to replace the Win7RC that was installed on my system. I always do clean installs, to eliminate any hidden issues. Installed on a system using Asrock P45XE, E5200, HD2600XT, 4Gig RAM. All WEI scores between 5.7 and 6.4 (HD was 5.7) Used Ninite.com to install the latest versions all my favorite programs (Thunderbird, Firefox ,OpenOfice, Avast etc.) so it was I simply had to choose them and then come back 2 hours later and import my mail folders and bookmarks from my data drive. One of the easiest installs that I have experienced.

I've been using XP 32bit for a long time and was very comfortable with it so when I decided it was time to move to 64bit I was very wary of this OS. But from day one I've been very happy with it. I've had no problems at all really and that get's Win7 5 stars.

Finally, an operating system I don't mind paying for. A wonderful upgrade to the old Vista 32 I was using. If they can manage to keep it's functionality after the first service pack I'll call this one a "win" for Microsoft!
