This card is quite amazing. I am in love with this. From the moment my package arrived and I saw the ass box. Asus did a very good job packaging it. It comes with some very nice asus specific software to help maintain and OC the card and it came with (much to my surprise) Dirt 2!!. This card is working flawessly so far. No issues. I don't have the grey stripe problem. Using latest drivers from ati. The card it self looks very sweet. I was inline for an XFX XXX then decided to just get this as the OC on the xxx is very mild.

Very pleased with this product, got a free copy of Dirt 2, 3 year Asus Warranty, very well made and well packed, Asus recommends it as "overclockable". The Asus 5870 is one of the few vendors that lets you overclock past the 900MHz mark, this makes it effectively the best of 5870 bunche. I prefer this over any other brand including even XFX as this one offers a better overclocking and overall quality build value. Asus products have never turned bad on me. The performance is top notch like all 5870s. The temps on idke register at 37 and load are about 71C. I'm running a e8400 p 3.9 ghz on a azza solano 1000 case so it runs fairly cool. Noise is not an issue at all, the fan never goes over 30% and it is a breeze to enjoy this beast. Asus's 3 year warranty is great and more than enough for me anyway. You won't go wrong with this purchase. Dirt 2 is included with this package as well, the boxing is nice overall too. Extremely power efficient as well.

LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA).
