Well.. It's an operating system. When it's not crashing, locking up, or freezing I guess it runs ok. Don't forget to spend 2 hours updating all your windows files before it becomes useful. Too bad Linux doesn't run games very well yet.      » READ MORE

Though this has been around for years, it isn't very stable and still offers too many avenues for 'hackers' to exploit. Though this OS is more stable than its successor, Vista, it still has too many security holes. Aside from the negatives, this OS offers many software titles written for it and remains a good OS to buy if you want a large selection of titles to install.      » READ MORE

What can I say about the XP line of Windows products...its better than Vista. Home is a great OS, Professional is better if your willing to spend the extra cash.      » READ MORE

XP is now a tried and tested product, making it the easiest to use OS for PCs. When it first came out, it had several problems, but now it is smooth due to several updates. Eventually, once Vista gets to the point that XP is currently, then upgrade to Vista. For now, XP should do you do well.       » READ MORE

Great deal on the OS and works great on the eee pc. This is a great OS and should work well for everyone and is much easier to use than most Linux interfaces in terms of software.      » READ MORE

I picked up a copy for a basic build that didn't have the resources to run Vista. I also didn't want the hassles of possible software incompatibilities since I still use some older programs & there was no benefit to go to Vista for me.      » READ MORE
